A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year! It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as your Principal, Wendi Manthei. I am deeply honored to be part of the Edwin Markham family.

With over 25 years in the field of education, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities in many of our Pasco schools throughout my career. However, I am particularly excited to be here at Edwin Markham, where our shared commitment is to establish meaningful connections and to prepare our students to become lifelong learners and productive members of our community.

At Edwin Markham Elementary, we believe in fostering an environment where students can thrive academically and socially. We are dedicated to providing your child with the education and support they need to succeed. I consider it a great privilege to be a part of this incredible school community.

I am eager to partner with each of you as we embark on this educational journey together. Your involvement and support are crucial to your child's success, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you.
